The people behind VoiceScan.
Technology and vocal pedagogy, united by the same idea: what a great teacher hears can be measured, repeated, and compared.

Andrés Martorell
The vocal coach who has trained over 1,500 voices, from hobbyists to Grammy winners.
Uruguayan-born vocal coach based in Europe. He has trained more than 1,500 singers from around the world, including Grammy winners, multi-platinum artists, and Billboard number-ones. Certified at the highest level (Level 5) in Speech Level Singing and Master Mentor, and head of vocal research and science at the IVA, he has trained with leading voices in vocal science such as Ingo Titze. Since 2011 he has been a Voice Coaching professor at the National University of Ireland, Galway, where he created his own program bridging vocal technique, speech, and vocal science. He created the Modern Vocal Training methodology and a major international vocal training gathering held every year for singers from more than 40 countries. As a tenor, he has performed with symphony orchestras in Poland. At VoiceScan Lab, he translates the teacher’s ear into the method the system learns from.
